The Summer Princess and The Winter Princess

A running joke Lady-Moth and I have is that California is a land of eternal summer and almost summer whereas Alaska is a land of eternal winter and almost winter. Unsurprisingly, when I started thinking about what to make my girlfriend for our one year anniversary, it was something I kept coming back to.

My girlfriend loves fairytales and visual novels. So I decided to combine the both! The Summer Princess & The Winter Princess is a short kinetic novel (about 10 minutes, if that) about two princesses who become friends and something even more over the years. It’s the story about the two of us too.

I wanted my girlfriend to be the first to play it, and now that she has, I’m offering this to others if you want to play it too! This is my first visual novel, so it’s not perfect by a long shot, but it was something I put a lot of love into, and I hope that shows! There is a letter after the credits sequence for my girlfriend, and I chose to include it because I wanted all of you to see those feelings too.
